* POV ran a "Greatest Docs of All Times" contest, and there at #63 is "Everyday Sunshine: The Story of Fishbone" by Chris Metzler ('08).

* And Michele Stephenson's ('10) "American Promise" has been accepted for the Documentary competition at Sundance.

Congrats from me, Michele and Chris, and I'm sure from all the rest of your fellow Workshop grads!

And more good news  -

Michele Stephenson's "American Promise," which she workshopped in Class of '10, won the 2013 Sundance US Documentary Special Jury Award for Filmmaking.

Two Workshoppers had projects they workshopped chosen to compete for INPUT:  Debbie Lum ('10, "Seeking Asian Female") and Christina King ('11, "Up Heartbreak Hill") .

And Luis Carrion ('07) at KUAT won a regional Emmy for "UA Balanchine dance," a magazine feature he produced.

Congrats and hoorays!

Congratulations, Michele! I knew you when....
