They showed the full version at the New Orleans museum of Art. I've been sending everybody in town to see Hard Truths, which is about the best thing I've seen in many years.  Dial must've been a prickly subject. He looks like papa don't take no mess. Can't believe PBS wouldn't show the film. It is beautiful. Probably still hating on Arnette. Hope you're enjoying motherhood. We need you back in the doc world.

Celia, Saw the Thornton Dial film tonight, and I'm howling at the full moon.

What a great work. Hard Truths is at the New Orleans museum and it blew us away.

Your film captures one of the great artists of our time and redeems a man who has suffered for his passion and love.  So glad I know you.

I guess you were productive.

I'm not a mother but I sure do have an appreciation for how it changes your world. We're moving forward with Carolina Stories and Southern Lens but very concerned about the future of SCETV state funding, and how it will impact local programming. I have always been a station producer so budget cuts could potential change my world. Hmm, maybe you will need a nanny?!
