PRODUCERS WORKSHOP ONLINE
Producersworkshop.pbs.org
Five resources for public media
Over the last 11 years, over 220 producers from PBS stations and independent media communities nationwide have participated in the CPB/PBS Producers Workshop at WGBH. To share their experiences and accomplishments, these Workshop graduates have created a showcase: the Producers Workshop Online (PWO). This social media…
ContinueThanks! Yes, we've had a ton of press. You'd think that I'd know how to talk to the media (because I AM the media) but I never really learned how to be an interviewee until now. I have an Ovee screening tomorrow, and 4 more events in 4 cities in the coming week. Then I guess I should go make another show.
Lisa Durden said… Thanks Judith. I am sooo looking forward to getting funding for Running To Win because I know that it's gonna be a eye opening, entertaining documentary.
Hi Judith, yes. I do know Katie. She's great. Her stories for Earthfix are quite good; getting some national play on Newshour. All is well here at KCTS9. We're a bit soggy this time of year, but looking forward to summer in June...er, July...well Septemer for sure.
Sandra Alvarez said… Thank you so much Judith. What a great way to keep in touch! (Also- the Applied Economics sounds fancier than it is...it's Cornell's name for their business major =)
Michele Stephenson said… Thanks! IT's been an amazing few weeks.
Thanks Judith! It was definitely down to the wire - and I was worried! But folks came through. I'm so grateful!
Julia Elliott said… Thanks for the welcome, Judith! I've been doing a lot of kid raising and very little filmmaking in the past few years, but I'm trying to get back in the loop. I just finished a web-based video project that I'd love to get the Producers Workshop community's advice on. Specifically, I'm trying to drum up web traffic, and ideally find a broadcast partner. I'll post some videos and the link to the site. Hope you are well!

Chris Metzler said… Will do Judith. We've just been a bit focused on the theatrical release and waiting to promote AfroPoP closer to the broadcast date a few months from now. And since this is a DIY punk rock effort, reaching out to press, keeping up with Facebook, Twitter, and our own website has got us all tied up in knots at time. But love the tool here, so we'll work to incorporate it a bit more. Thanks for the support and suggestion! Chris
