Posted on April 12, 2015 at 11:48am 3 Comments

If you're thinking of using OVEE to do an online screening of your documentary, try it out as a viewer first.  We have an online screening/discussion of "EcoShakespeare" today at 1pm ET.  I'm moderating so I'll be there.   The producer of this program is Rob Diaz de Villegas (also a Producers Workshop attendee!)…

My latest documentary called "The Graduation Gateway" is now online at my station's website.   It is about the importance of graduating high school when trying to find a job and the efforts being made to make sure all Florida Students are career ready.  I hope you'll all check it out. It's 26:46.  I'd love to know what you all think.

Monday, October 4th WFSU-TV will be holding our final Bandwagon Event of the 2010 political season: 33 candidates in 14 local contested races (including some U.S. Representative races) will appear live on our educational access channel and website (wfsu.org). Each gets 3 minutes to say why people should vote for them. If they go longer than 3 minutes, the microphone is cut and a Barbershop Harmony group performs. We've done this since 1997. It can be a wild and crazy event with hundreds of supporters in our studio. I'm producing and one of the hosts. If you're interested in checking it out go to wfsu.org at 7pm (eastern).

Just thought I'd let you know that Matt Burrows has the best excuse for being late to join us on this network:

"My wife was ordered into bed rest by her doctor two weeks ago and then we had our baby 2 days early -- he was supposed to be born today (July 26) but we had a bit of an emergency Friday night and he was born Saturday morning. We get discharged tomorrow so hopefully I'll be able to get myself up on the site tomorrow night or Wednesday night."

I thought you might like to know and send congrats! It's mburrows@scetv.org -- until he has a free minute...

Welcome! Glad you were able to get past whatever the problems were! And when you have time, please add more -- videos, photos, press releases, everything that lets us know all your good work!
best, Judith
