I’m very excited to share that Off the Menu: Asian America, a new documentary I produced and directed premieres nationally on PBS next Tuesday Dec. 8. Please check your local TV listings for exact airdates.
Thanks to all of you who have been supportive of this project over the past year. It’s been an incredible experience both filming and sharing the film with audiences around the country who have wholeheartedly embraced the breadth and complexity of Asian American stories. I’m especially proud about the segment that features the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin and how its tradition of langar, the weekly communal meal, helped members in the healing process following the mass shooting there in 2012.
