More congrats to María Agui Carter for being awarded the 2014 Erik Barnouw Award for Best Historical Film by the Organization of American Historians for her film REBEL. One or two awards are given annually by the Organization of American Historians in recognition of outstanding programming on television, or in documentary film, concerned with American history, the study of American history, and/or the promotion of American history. Past winners of this award have included Ken Burns & Henry Hampton.
