In the edit bay and working with high volumes of archival still photos. Just curious if workshoppers have  favorite tools/techniques/ AfterEffects they've used to get a more dynamic look to still photos for documentary. We're using some cutout/layering and stereograph effects, but we're seeking other ideas.

Hmm... nothing new really.  I'm working on a show now were it has particular style with "bar code scan" lines and such which are all added in via After Effects and our post house.

In the same vain, I'm looking to see if people have ever seen an interesting use of subtitles for a doc / narrative which is a stray away from the normal.
