Sands of Silence gets Women Rights Award + 1st Prize at Malaga Film Festival

I will never forget the several minute-long ovation Sands of Silence received at its world premiere in Spain, as I sat with my 6 siblings in the packed 350-seat legendary Albeniz Theater in the core of Malaga's historic district.

It not only received First Prize and Biznaga de Plata (Silver Biznaga) at Festival de Málaga - Asserting Women's Rights section, it also captured the hearts of hundreds that expressed again and again how much the film impacted them.

Spain is eagerly awaiting the launch of our outreach campaign. So are the US and Mexico. Stay tuned!
