The Producers Workshop generated some fruitful collaborations, among others, Colin Powers and Chelo Alvarez-Stehle decided to collaborate on a new doc about two families navigating Lake Champlain and its tributaries in Native American canoe-style!!!
It could make for an interesting piece, but I am Just Kidding! We just paid Colin a visit on our way to VT. He lives in a gorgeous remote tiny village off the Lake Champlain coast (i honor to Sir Robert Borden Champlain, main subject of his animated documentary "Dead Reckoning: Champlain In America").
