"Poustinia: The Art of Gendron Jensen" on WORLD and PBS Stations

Wanted to let folks know that my short doc "Poustinia: The Art of Gendron Jensen" will be airing on WORLD CHANNEL beginning May 12 at 9:30pm EST following "Winning Girl: America ReFramed". Other stations are taking it from NETA offer and scheduling individually. Response has been all positive!  WORLD is found on WLIW in NYC, KOCE in LA, KQED in SF, WTTW in Chicago, etc. etc.

Happy New Year! My 2014.

Happy 2015! Looking back, last year was remarkable. Finally made Penn State lion shrine come to life in 3D photorealistic computer animation (w/FuseFX in Burbank) for a 30 second spot (I saw it play during SONS OF ANARCHY between Jack Daniels and Harley ads)  - I entered and won the top prize in Script Pipeline's Great TV show idea contest with treatment for SILENT PICTURE reality/documentary series (my DINO DUELS animation series treatment was a finalist last year) - screened my short doc…

"Poustinia" wins audience award at MSPIFF14

This is the rambling saga of how I finished my short documentary POUSTINIA on artist Gendron Jensen - "the bone man" - someone I've known since I was a kid growing up in Northern Minnesota - Gendron draws bones - exquisitely detailed realistic drawings. His medium is graphite on paper and, more recently, stone lithography. Its initial screening was June 2013 (at a retrospective exhibit in our home town of Grand Rapids, Minnesota).  I first started shooting video with Gendron back in 1977…
