Spring is upon us and I have some exciting news to share!
If you're in New York City, check out an interview with me about my recent work on the Emmy winning "Nueva York" on CUNY TV.
The episode also features interviews with acclaimed Peruvian writer Mario Vargas Llosa, and Evo Morales biographer Martin Sivak. Great company to keep if you ask me...
Air-dates for "Nueva York" in NYC are:
CUNY TV, Channel 75 (on cable)
Thursday, April 21 at 10 AM, 4 PM, and 10 PM
Saturday, April 23 at 2:30 PM
Thursday, April 28 at 10 AM, 4 PM, and 10 PM

I am also happy to announce that I was the recipient of the National Association of Latino Independent Producers (NALIP) 2011 Estela Award for Documentary, at NALIP's 2011 National Conference "The New Now" at Newport Beach, CA. The award was made possible by the generous sponsorship of McDonald's.
In the Narrative category, the 2011 Estela Award honored Javier Fuentes Leon, the director of “Contracorriente,” Peru’s official submission for the 2011 Academy Awards® and nominee for Best Latin American Film at the 2011 Goya Awards in Spain.

Finally, I am excited to announce my latest collaboration as producer/editor with director (and fellow PBS Producers Academy alum) Rebecca Richman Cohen, the "Montana Medical Marijuana Film" (working title) will be participating at the Tribeca Film Institute's All Access program from April 25-28, which runs concurrently with the Tribeca Film Festival. This will be my second time with a project at TAA, a fantastic program that allows filmmakers to meeting with industry as we get the word out on this exciting feature length documentary.
Thanks and happy spring to all,
